Dr. Burge is a member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society and the Tazewell Dental Study Club. He regularly attends continuing education conferences and stays current on all the latest dental materials and techniques. He is a proud member of the Academy of Computerized Dentistry of North America.

In 1976, Dr. Burge received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Loyola University School of Dentistry in Chicago, Illinois. He graduated with outstanding proficiency in fixed and removable prosthodontics [crowns, bridges, partial dentures, etc.].

In 1969, Dr. Burge received his undergraduate degree from Louisianna State University. He received his bachelors degree in Zoology with an emphasis in Chemistry. He then attended graduate school in Biochemistry and Ethnobotany.

After Undergraduate studies Dr. Burge taught high school chemistry at Danville High School in Danville, Illinois for 3 years where he also coached the tennis team to 38 wins and 3 losses.
